Hello Space Crew! 🚀
Here is your FFL Orlando 2023 Pre-Flight Checklist 002! We have some new information to share with you for our upcoming Space Launch so that you can make the most of your experience at FFL.
Most importantly, if you have not booked your hotel room, the room block closes on June 9th at 11:59 pm ET. Our block of rooms is nearly full. Book your room here.
Conference App:
Information and instructions on how to download the conference app will be available in the next Pre-Flight Checklist: 003 email, which will be sent on June 9th. This will also be covered in the upcoming Informational Q+A on June 6th. We will provide a link to the recorded session in the next Pre-Flight Checklist email.
Disney + Universal Park Tickets:
Slightly discounted multi-day tickets for Disney are available via the room block website at FFL.is/Orlandohotel. There are no discounts on single-day tickets and they should be purchased through the regular Disney website. CWD is excited to share that we also have discounted tickets available for Universal at https://ffl.is/Universal2023. These tickets are almost half the price of purchasing a park-to-park ticket directly from Universal. Please note that you won't have time to visit parks during the conference but this might be a fun activity for you and the family post-FFL!

Don't forget to pack your intergalactic gear for the space-themed banquet on Thursday night hosted by our friends at Walgreens! The theme is broad, all space gear is acceptable, be creative and have fun with it. Dressing up is just an option, not required. Here are photos from the 2022 safari-themed banquet.
Each registered attendee will receive an FFL Orlando 2023 conference t-shirt at check-in. A few reminders: while packing for the July Florida heat, come prepared for the convention center's chilly atmosphere with a sweater or light jacket. We see lots of afternoon thunderstorms so we suggest packing an umbrella or rain jacket for your walk to the convention center. ✨🌧️

DocuDiabetes returns! Create a video, 60 seconds or less, documenting a day in the life with T1D. Funny, serious, poignant, rebellious, animated…it’s up to you!
DocuDiabetes submissions will be shown at a screening on Wednesday, July 5th where they will be voted upon by your peers. The top five winners will premiere at the banquet on Thursday evening.
All entries must be 60 seconds or less. Submissions are due by Monday, June 19, 2023 at 11:59pm ET. Late submissions will not be accepted. Submit your DocuDiabetes video.
